How far in advance should I book?
The short answer: As soon as you have your date and venue secured! My calendar fills up fast, especially for peak wedding and event seasons. Most clients book my services 6 to 12 months in advance. If your event is on a popular weekend, I highly recommend locking in your date early. That said, if you are planning a last-minute celebration, reach out! If I’m available, I’d love to rock your party.
Can we meet before booking?
Absolutely. In fact, I highly recommend it! Music sets the tone for your entire night, so it’s incredibly important that you feel comfortable with me. We can easily schedule a quick virtual consultation (Google Meets/ WhatsApp) for a vibe check, to chat about your vision, answer your questions, and make sure we are the perfect match.
What genres of music do you specialize in?
I pride myself on being a musical chameleon! Rather than sticking to just one style, my specialty is reading the room and seamlessly mixing across eras and genres. Whether you want R&B throwbacks (90s, 2000s), current Top 40, hip-hop, dancehall, afrobeats, indie rock, country, or electronic- I work closely with you beforehand to curate a custom playlist tailored entirely to your unique taste.
Can we submit our own playlist?
Yes, I highly encourage it! This is your celebration, and I want the music to perfectly reflect your personality and style. The best way to do this is by sharing a Spotify or Tidal playlist with me ahead of time containing your absolute favourite bangers. My role on the day is to read the room, arrange the tracks seamlessly, and blend your favourites with songs that will keep your guests energised and dancing all night long.
Do you take song requests from guests?
Yes, but with a professional filter! I love keeping your guests happy, but my primary loyalty is always to your vision and musical taste.
• I will gladly take requests that align with the vibe and energy you want for your event.
• I strictly honor your "Do Not Play" list. If a guest requests a song or genre you've vetoed, I will politely steer them in a different direction.
Can you MC the wedding day as well as DJ?
Yes! I handle both roles seamlessly. As your MC, I will make all your major announcements—from grand entrances and first dances to dinner transitions and cake cutting—with a clear, confident, and professional tone. I am a trained facilitator with a style that is polished and engaging so can guarantee keeping the evening moving smoothly without being overbearing or cheesy.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes, completely. I arrive at your venue fully self-sufficient with a top-of-the-line, professional sound system, wireless microphones for speeches, and immersive dance floor lighting. All I need from your venue is a dedicated power source, and I will handle the rest. Full setup and teardown are always included and done outside of your performance hours.
What happens if you have an emergency on the day?
While I pride myself on extreme reliability and have never missed an event, I always have a solid "Plan B" in place. I maintain an active network of trusted, professional backup DJs who can step in with full access to your specific timeline, music requests, and event details in the rare event of a true emergency. Additionally, I always bring backup gear (cables, decks, microphones, and audio sources) so that technical hiccups never shut down the party.
Do you travel?
Yes! Here is how travel fees work:
• Within 100 miles of London (N22): Travel is included.
• UK destinations over 100 miles: A flat £150 travel fee applies.
• International: Custom travel quote provided based on location.
